HVAC-Inspired Costumes

HVAC-Inspired CostumesRegular readers of our blog have surely noticed our tendency to tackle serious topics that are designed to make your lives easier and more comfortable. Today, however, we’re going to shift gears and have a bit of fun while we discuss HVAC-inspired Halloween costumes using tools and components that you and your children can enjoy this year.

Service Worker Costumes

What better way to show your support for HVAC technicians than to dress up like one for Halloween? Instead of dressing in a traditional style, though, try doing something with a little more pizzazz. For instance, you could go as an electrician who’s “accidentally” stuck a fork in an outlet by using hair spray to fluff out your hair in all directions. Or grab yourself a worker’s belt and equip it with a pipe and plunger (just make sure you buy a new one) to go as your favorite plumber.

Dryer Vent Costumes

Who would’ve known that dryer vents were so darn versatile? Forget using them for ventilation purposes (okay, not really) – these things were practically made for Halloween costumes. They can be used as the arms and legs of either a robot or the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz, as the mechanical arms of Spiderman villian Doctor Octopus, or even as a way to transform into Slinky from the Toy Story movies.

Fortnite Costumes

This year, Fortnite costumers will undoubtedly be a hot Halloween commodity. You can join in the festivities by fashioning your own “clinger” weapon out of a common plunger (again, please purchase a new one). You’ll also need to add on a fake “explosive” device, so you might want to purchase a ready-made version – like this 3D printed one on Etsy.

HVAC components are great for Halloween costumes once a year, but for year-round maintenance please contact the incredible team of professionals at Beyer Boys. We’ve been serving the HVAC needs of San Antonio and the surrounding area since 1990.

Our goal is to help educate our customers in the greater San Antonio, Texas area about energy and home comfort issues (specific to HVAC systems).
